Why the module is called nonfree?
I have some doubts about the nonfree module:
- Does it implies paying?
- Is there a licence needed for using it?
- Why does it have that name?
I have some doubts about the nonfree module:
The nonfree module is actually a module that contains software that cannot be placed under the BSD license of OpenCV. This means that once you use this software for commercial purposes, you will have to contact the patent holder for license agreements. Therefore it is called nonfree.
