I'm getting the following message when compiling OpenCV with a local IPP package (dynamic linkage)
Cannot find Intel IPP Integration Wrappers, optimizations will be limited. Use IPPIWROOT to set custom location
Can someone tell me what "optimisations will be limited" really means? I'm wondering if a significant part of the IPP optimisations is left out if the integration wrappers are missing?
I tried setting the IPPIWROOT but the version I have seems to be incompatible with OpenCV resulting in build errors.
