cross-compile OpenCV to LEON processor

Has anyone managed to cross-compile OpenCV for a LEON processor? Is this technically possible at all?

I never heared of it being possible, the web has some attempts of people trying to rewrite the library for LEON processers, but cross-compiling seems like a NOGO to me.
