Actually there should be some historical reason for that I guess, since newer ones do not have that ...
I have found the
/*M ... M*/
in the licence part, like here or here So I suppose it is for docs generator, but I am not sure (I just suppose...)It is practically in each file out there and must have a meaning but google cannot help me...
