Spotter Needed!

I'm looking for code or an example of opencv using two cameras. One is simply a wide angle webcam with a view of the church floor form the "nest" area. The other is a PTZ Sony with x10optical zoom.

I'd like to use the web cam to define areas for the PTZ to pan and zoom to when it detects someone within that area of the shot.

I know it would require some calibration and a lot more know how than I currently have on OpenCv, but I was hoping that one of you have seen some example code that would point me in the right direction.
