detect the direction of an object
We are working on Robot Football. For this Project we need to take information from a camera and give coordinates to the robot.
For example, a ball is detected by the camera and the coordinates are given to the robot to catch the ball. To do this we need to convert pixels from the camera to 2D coordinates. Moreover, we need to know on which direction the robot is directed initially.
Can anyone help us?
Is this a fixed camera? Are you going to model the physics of the football's flight? Will the camera FOV include the ground at all times, with some sort of points of reference?
