Hi all,
I have been trying to install the latest opencv version but without success. I have tried both options (pre-built libraries and generating libs with cmake) using some tutorials that I found in the web. I didn't find any step by step with all my requirements (in the subject).
Does anyone have documentation that helps me.

Hi, I had several problems with Windows x64 and decided to change to Linux Mint (x64). I followed this tutorial and was able to install the latest version of OpenCv.
Actually you shouldn't change the target system just because your build failed ... Looking for a good solution is a way better approach.
You are understanding me wrong. If the problem is focussed on windows x64, then you shouldn't suggest moving to another operating system; That is as much of an alternative as you would suggest buying a patato because you cannot succeed in buying bread to put your cheese on...

Guys! You should be a little bit more gentle with the community in my opinion. @JoãoMachado could you describe more details about your problem.
Apologies :) Actually I think we make an effort to be as consise as possible but I will mind on it in the future :)
