Recognising electrical wiring diagrams [closed]

Hi, I think this is the right forum for this question.

I'm part of a development team looking to build a product for a client. I have a stack of old wiring diagrams scanned and as PDF.

I would like to be able to identify the symbols and connections in order to recreate the meta data. Ideally the project would be able to recreate the set of diagrams for a device back in AutoCAD Electrical. Even if its an 80% complete recreation, it would save a lot of time and effort.

What I'm looking for is a starting point, some samples ... a pointer in the right direction. (Our primary stack is .NET but other languages we can usually pickup ok)

Can you post a link to an example image with the elements you want to identify?
