OpenCV error in raspberry pi "unable to stop stream : inappropriate ioctl for device"

When I run code my OpenCV code in raspberry pi 3,i get this error. Is it some problem with OpenCV configuration. I've been having this issue for sometime What does it mean by "inappropriate ioctl for device"

I was trying to do template matching in a video file, but somehow i am getting this error. While running the same code on my laptop, i didn't get this error.

What could possibly be the problem ?
